February 2, 2002: SF Hunt '02

Blood & Bones' first victory!!!  The SF Hunt '02 was a one-day hunt with Game-style clues, and was a great time.  Though this Game was not completely debugged, probably due to a lack of playtesting, it had some very interesting clues, and was a worthy challenge.  The clues were partially by car, and partially by foot, and took place primarily in the northwest quadrant of San Francisco, including the Presidio, Golden Gate Park, and Haight-Ashbury.  The organizers tried not to leave clues at the clue sites, and instead often gave us multiple clues at once, without telling us which we were supposed to solve next.  We were confused by this, but when we ultimately figured them all out, we found out we had beaten all the other teams and for the first time, we had won!  Our hard work had finally paid off, and it seems we are starting to get the attention and respect of some of the veteran Gamers.  Hopefully, this will translate to some success in the next full-length Game we do...we shall see.
